TRI-STATE MUSTANG /FORD CLUB Tri-State Mustang/Ford Club was founded in June 1979. It is the oldest Mustang Club in the greater Cincinnati area. In 1981 the club decided to affiliate with a National organization; The Mustang Club of America (MCA). In 1993 (TSMC ) hosted the first National MCA Show in the State of Ohio at Forest Fair Mall, Cincinnati, Ohio. Some of our members like to attend and show their cars at Mustang Club of America’s National & Grand National Shows throughout the USA. Tri-State Mustang Club is for the entire family. Our scheduled events include; Spring Tour, Picnic, Fall Tour, and our Christmas Party. We also have unscheduled events such as Cruise-ins, Parades etc. Our biggest Scheduled event is our Summer Show which is always the last Sunday in July and our pony Trail the Saturday before the show. Our club maintains a club roster of 100 + members . Our membership includes the family. We have a wide variety of ages, car ownership and interests. Club members possess varying degrees of mechanical, electrical and auto-body skills as well as detailed knowledge on restoration techniques. There are different professions represented. (We can also find advice about non-auto subjects). The common bond among our members is our love of the cars. They love to show them as well as drive them. The quality of our cars varies widely. We have national champion show cars, many daily drivers and some in between. We have a very nice variety of Mustangs in our club ; Early Mustangs 1964-73, Shelby’s, Cobra’s, Saleens, Bullitts , Mach 1’s, Boss,’Rousch’s and a lot of late model GT’s. Even a few race cars. Ford cars are also well represented. Each Member receives 11 issues a year of Our club newsletter (Pony Express) The newsletter features the news of our club activities and our upcoming schedule of events along with other interesting articles. Members receive free classified advertisements approved by our editor. Also You will receive a membership card and a Club window decal. Another source of our Information is the club website www.tristatemustang.com. Our club has several charities, The show charity is the Yellow Ribbon Support Center. They do great work for our Military men & women and we feel it is a very deserving charity. Our oldest charity is The Ford Asset Program. Through the years TSMC has given sponsorships to deserving students. Our Club has an outstanding working relationship with Ford. We have also been fortunate to have Ford Dealers as our major sponsors. Ford generously allows TSMC to hold its monthly meeting the 3rd Wed of each month (except Dec) at Ford’s Mason Ohio. Training facility located at 4900 Parkway Dr, Mason Ohio 45040. (Directions) Take I-275 to I-71 N (from Cincinnati) or I-71 S (from the north Suburbs) to Exit 19 (Mason-Montgomery /Fields-Ertel Road) Turn left on Mason-Montgomery, go underI-71(from Cincinnati) or turn right on Mason-Montgomery (from the North). You should pass Biggs Shopping market on your right. Continue on Mason-Montgomery, for about ¼ mile to Parkway Drive. Turn right on Parkway Drive, which is a short divided road. Then turn left at the first onto a service road and immediately left again into the Building 4900 Office Complex. The Ford office is about half-way down the building. Look for the Ford Oval on the door. There are usually lots of Mustangs parked in the vicinity.
